The AFC Title game is no stranger to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Since 2001 Tom has appeared in 12 of them and Sunday will make 13. He also has won 8 of those games to advance to the Super Bowl a players record 8 times. So will Tom and the Patriots with their 9’th AFC title game in 18 years? My take is yes. In a down year for the Patriots at 11-5 (3-5 on the road) experience will pay huge dividends here. Both teams will play on the same cold slippery natural turf which was re-sodded this week. Kansas City will have their high octane offense and their porous defense and the Patriots will have their moderate (by Patriots standards) offense and their working man’s defense. But only one team will have Tom Brady, and with Brady comes a huge advantage. Pats to win by 8 and the running game to lead the effort with Tom Brady managing a magnificent game plan.
