T20 or one-day cricket requires just one ball to score four runs. But if this is a ball that took away from you the umpire, then?
One such incident happened in today's Chennai-Sunrise match. Chennai beat Hyderabad by 4 runs in the last over of the tournament. But the umpire Virender Kulkarni forgot the match was lost out to the Shakib. Shakib has been deprived of important 1 ball because of the umpire's mistake. If the umpires did not make mistakes, then the result of the match could have been different.
What happened in the match?
Hyderabad innings 17th over Hyderabad needed 52 runs to win in 24 overs. The second ball of the 17th over made by Surredul Thakur is almost equal to the chest. Hyderabad batsman Captain Williamson took one run to push the ball backward square leg. But when the umpire looked at the umpire, the umpire declared it a valid ball. Which is pretty surprising to everyone. Then everyone thinks the Umpire forget to call no ball. But not at all. It was declared as valid ball by umpire Viveet Kulkarni
But TV replay shows that the delivery was far above the waist. However, the umpire declared a valid ball as well as a free hit as well as lost a valid ball Shakib. The price for which they lost was only 4 runs in the match.
Everyone thinks the Umpire forget to call no ball.
Yes. This was really no ball.
This is a very bad decision. But It is a part of cricket.
