RE: Does Tonya Harding Deserve a Makeover From the History Books?

in #sports7 years ago

We used to watch Tonya train here at Loyd Center when we were little kids. And we were all admiring having an Olympic skater from this area be in the Olympics. We would watch here do some really amazing moves, and she was very good. What took place though, was straight hood goodness straight from our Portland/Vancouver metro area, stuff like this goes on around here. Ordering hits, Sabotage obstruction, disruption of other peoples doing good (Nancy). This was something Tonya had in here from living here, sad because most people only no our area now from the show Portlandia, a far cry from the underbelly of our area, this shows how sometimes you cant change even if you become famous. This was for sure one of the "lowest blows" (even if its a pun), in sports history. Nice post!!
