Was anyone actually fooled by the rounds McGregor 'won'? Obviously this fight needed to go into the later rounds for the outrageous prices spectators payed to watch this exhibition. I mean really... aside from the left uppercut early and a few soft flurries here and there, did you actually believe the push jabs McGregor threw were damaging Floyd in any way? Absolutely not... Floyd knew EXACTLY what he was doing... Cover up early and allow the fans to think that McGregor had a chance, Let the fight go into the later rounds, and then finish him with a stoppage just like he predicted. This fight was so predictable that I predicted the fight to a tee... You can check out my prediction of a 10th round TKO in my previous post. In the end you had tip your hat to McGregor. He tried his best... and now we can all go back to watching real sports.
Just followed man, like your post! I completely agree.. even the average sports fan should know it was just a show and a chance for Floyd to get one more big pay day.. of course they tried there best to hype it up and all that. You were spot on.. I thought Floyd TKO in the 8th but I guess it had to go a bit further to give the fans something to watch. It's over with now and like you said back to watching real sports.. even though it's all about the $$ anyways
