So, I recently got interested in "Airsoft". Airsoft is a team sport where you use a 1/1 scale of a real gun to hit your opponents with BB's. BB's are the projectiles in Airsoft, they are small spheres. A downside of this sport is the expenses. Some of the airsoft guns can cost 500 dollars! You may say, "Why not just play with Nerf Blasters? They are a lot less expensive!", well the thing is Nerf Blasters are very inaccurate, and finding your darts afterwards is a pain. Airsoft guns on the other hand, are relatively accurate, this means that there are more tactical play styles to use.
If you were like me and can't figure out where to start, I have learned some tips on how to start Airsofting.
Do not go all out buy buy a bunch of gear before you try Airsoft!!!! This is a common mistake many people make. First you need to try Airsoft, maybe you won't enjoy it.
Find nearby Airsoft fields. Get to know their rules (Keep in mind every Airsoft field has their own rules!).
Some Airsoft fields may allow you to try out guns. Find what type of gun you like.
Decide what play style you like, whether you want to be the Sniper or engage opponents in close quarter combat. Buy your gear and guns based on what you like to do in an Airsoft war.
