Wild pheasant hunting is probably my most favorite thing in the world to do. I have shot thousands of pheasant in my life but the thrill of a wild bird rising out of the cover never gets old.
Hooked up with my boys out in Imperial Nebraska for the last weekend of the year pheasant Hunt. 2017 was a fantastic year for hunting in this area and this weekend was no exception to the others. Late season hunting is usually tough because the birds are really wild and the dogs and hunters are worn out but this group of hunters never quits until the last day of the season is gone.

This old bank was bought by the Hayden's and has been converted into a great hunting lodge. Complete with pool tables, ping pong, fine Scotch Wiskey and the best steaks you have ever eaten in your life!
Late night poker games and every flavor of fine single malt Scotch might be just as much fun at the hunting!
That is awesome. Where in Nebraska were you? A couple family members of mine just went back to Nebraska this past weekend for some goose and pheasant hunting as well. Would be wild if you guys were anywhere near each other?
We are in Enders, NE. It's about 10 miles from Imperial and 80 miles North of Goodland Kansas. Blizzard here right now!
Dang nice birds, I have only gotten to hunt pheasant a couple of times, but I always hear the best hunting gear is in a bottle.
