Stage 4 saw a couple of crashes within the last couple of kilometers. The first limited the number of riders sprinting towards the finish, the second is one now embroiled in controversy.
Summary of Stage 4 and Stage 5 preview.
The UCI kicked Peter Sagan, probably one of the top threats to Froome, out of the race because the extremely dirty rider, Mark Cavandish, did what he has done many many times, which is throw a shoulder and cause crashes. Cavandish pushed into Sagan and the contact made him begin to fall. To keep his balance and responding to the contact flicked out his elbow and made no contact with Cavandish as he was already falling. For this Sagan was tossed. BS!
Video shows the frauds that the UCI and Tour de France are.
I am very upset. The TDF is already a far inferrior race as compared to the Giro and now with Sagan out, I guess they just want to have a boring parade all the way to Paris for Froome. This race is going to be tough to watch the rest of the way.
