Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller welcomed his team's enthusiastic bout with Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final.
Bayern is scheduled to host the first leg on Thursday (26/4) early morning WIB, before then required to travel to the Santiago Bernabeu a week ago.
Madrid itself is a scourge for Bayern in recent seasons, but Muller is optimistic with his team's chances, after the Bavarian giants have successfully secured themselves as Bundesliga champions this season.
"Opportunities [against Real Madrid] look good," Muller told the official Bundesliga website. "We will not get to the semi-finals by luck.
"We are in a good phase and this match comes at the right time. While the results of the game we still have to see.
"I'm sure we will not let them but out there, I can smell something," he said.
Whoever wins this tie will most likely win the title.
