PSG Faced With UEFA Related Financial Fair Play

Paris Saint-Germain will meet UEFA later this month to discuss issues related to Financial Fair Play (FFP) according to ESPN FC sources.

The French capital club's representative will fly to Switzerland on April 20 and meet with UEFA's Club Financial Control Body to discuss FFP-related topics as reported by L'Equipe.

Ligue 1 leaders have been on the radar of European soccer's governing body since it attracted Neymar to join them from Barcelona for 222 million euros ($ 3.25 billion) last summer.

PSG then brought in Kylian Mbappe on loan from Monaco, but a permanent deal of around 180 million euros (about Rp3 trillion) after a one-season loan.

This is not the first time PSG should visit UEFA headquarters in Nyon since an investigation about the transfer deal last summer opened. A source said it may also not be the last meeting and not a sign of a decision for Lesparisiens is imminent.

The UFA FFP ruling is expected to come out at the earliest in early June and PSG does not expect the decision to be communicated when they meet UEFA in a few weeks.

Barcelona and La Liga pushed Uefa to conduct an audit of PSG immediately because they thought it had injured the transfer market in the world of football. Because after Neymar transfrer from Barca to PSG the price of players skyrocketed sharply.
