Premier league is not only the most followed league in the world has endeared itself to sporting world with its high diversities of talents being exported in and out of England. Today, I decided to look at some notable players from the Asian continent who has contributed (ing) their best in the game.
- Park Ji-sung
The South Korean is noted for his not given up altitude, Park is a name rings bell to EPL lover as the player plied his trade for Manchester United and later Queen Parks Rangers is the first Asian to win the UEFA Champions league and the premier league titles. Park won 4 titles to his name with 19 goals in 154 appearances and 21 assists. - Shinji Kagawa
Kagawa became the first Japanese player to win the premier league title with Manchester United during his first season with the Manchester club and he is has the record of being the first Asian to score a hat trick during a match against Norwich City. - Ki Sung-Yueng
Ki Sung-Yueng, age 30 is a South Korea player who has made more appearances in the league than any of his country man with 184 appearances while playing his trade with league sides like Swansea, Sunderland and Newcastle United will make his 8th consecutive season in EPL by August. So far, he has scored 15 goals and has made 9 assists. - Shinji Okazaki
Okakazi is Japanese often remembered with his fantastic overhead kick in a game against Newcastle that ensured Leicester kept close to their hope of winning the EPL which they ultimately lifted in 2015/2016 season as under dogs. Okazaki has made 114 appearances in Epl with 14 goals, 4 assists and a tittle to show for it. - Son Heung-min
Son is a very popular name in English premier league and was in top form for Tottenham Hotspurs they made in finals of the UEFA Champion league last season. His goals in the tournament made it that Harry Kane was not so much missed. He has made it double figures in his season goals tally for three seasons consecutively. The South Korean has the highest scoring record from Asia with 42 goals, 19 assists in 130 appearances.
