I just want to say, congratulations to Belgium. They proved themselves as a great football team. For the first time in their World Cup history, Belgium became the third place winner.
Belgium played really great football, full of beautiful passes and chances. On the other hand, England lost its touch after the first Belgium goal. Harry Kane had a few chances that he couldn't make it out of it. Eden Hazard and team was relentless int their attacks. If not for Jordan Pickford (I like this goalkeeper), England would be lose more than 2-0. The main problem with England was their offense, although they have many great players such as Harry Kane and Sterling, but their counter attacks frankly useless. If you see all the games of England in this World Cup, many of the goals happened from set pieces such as corner kick or penalties. So, they still have lack of sharpness in front. English defenses was pretty good this World Cup, especially the goalkeeper Pickford, he was very formidable. But, if you keep getting attacked relentlessly you will be tired very fast.
Belgium had perfect team this World Cup, the defense and offense are pretty strong. And the offense is very deadly under Hazard and Lukaku. The defense with Kompany and Courtois as goalkeeper also very good. So, congrats Belgium for winning the third place. I hope you will show us great games again in the future. And, for England congrats for being relevant again in World Cup. You will coming home, lol.
