It's always quite surprising but a good thing sometimes to see lower teams giving bigger teams much headache, and it more interesting when the lower teams plays like the own the ball. I don't know, maybe it's just me personally, I love it when a lower team actually faces a bigger and stronger team with much confidence unlike majority of them do by making walls and tight defense lines which would eventually get broken after some trials by the bigger team.
This game of confidence in lower teams has been quite rampant in the EPL this season with and form teams such as Leeds, Westham, Aston Villa, and Brighton. These teams are actually low teams compared to the likes of Manchester United, City, Chelsea and more, and then let's consider what they've been playing this season. Leeds United got Manchester City worked up some weeks ago, Westham hadn't seen much of a chance to trouble to trash bigger teams this season but it hasn't been easy for any team around them this season and that as bought them a great result by appearing on the top 5 list when it's just 6 matches left for the season to round up.
EXPERIENCES ON THE BRIDGE!
Yesterday's match was quite a tough one for Chelsea, and evaluating that match makes me feel the UCL match between Chelsea and Real Madrid in few weeks would be quite boring or perhaps, beyond expectations!
Tuchel yesterday, I personally observed that he couldn't trust any of his attackers and just like that, there'll definitely be so much problems for him if he chooses not play or start a potential No. 9 such as Giroud which seems to be best option he has left!
Chelsea last night kept the ball to foot and managed their passes and touches well but the funny thing was not having a finisher upfront. It could have been a different story if had started Giroud or perhaps Werner but have Havertz, Ziyech, and Pulisic at the front line just seems like having runners, and skillful creator who could score anytime but then lacking a finisher. I must say Chelsea were quite lucky last night with attempts from the likes of - Lallana, and Bissouma, these two guys had crazy attempts that could have kept Chelsea off the EPL top 4 list.
There are still bigger problems for Tuchel (Chelsea's Manager) this season as he has too many important matches to handle in a little while and yet not really with the right players or perhaps the right way or pattern to use the players or the right play pattern. He's got the FA Cup final against Leicester, a UCL semi final match against Real Madrid, and a Crucial mission to finish top 4 in the premier league this season, it's just so much to handle in few weeks. Chelsea are currently on 4 position ahead of Westham which they'll be playing next in the EPL with just goal different and not winning against Westham at the Olympic stadium would definitely get them much to think and worry about, and to crown the EPL struggle, they still have to play big teams such as Manchester City, Arsenal, and Leicester City in the EPL, so the top 4 race is just so hard on Chelsea at the moment! Let's just seat back and watch!
