Many of the players who play in the major leagues are Latinos. Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Venezuela are the countries with the most players in the major leagues. The case you put with the soccer players in Brazil is a good example to visualize not only the fame and money that can get an athlete, but also the country, which benefits indirectly.
