It is Saturday.
It is 7:30.
It's -32 degrees this morning.
You really have to love skiing to get up so early in such a cold weather!

We are at Mont Avalanche, St. Adolphe d'Howard, Quebec, Canada.
177 runners from the Laurentian Alpine Ski Division gathered for the event, a U12 competition (10 and 11 years old) for a Kombi event (mix of Slalom and Giant Slalom).
Here, we see the runners inspecting the route and arriving in the finish area.
In fact, a beautiful sporting event for our young people!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Mont Avalanche.
Mont Avalanche is a resort with a difference in height of 160 m and 13 runs from easy to expert. It also has a snow park and a very nice undergrowth (I tried it, really fun!). This small family resort also offers surprising snow conditions, well groomed trails and especially well groomed for a mountain belonging to the municipality of Sainte Adolphe d'Howard. Surrounded by a multitude of small lakes and small mountains, the resort offers at times magnificent views of the region.

Finally, although I live less than 20 minutes from this station, it was the first time I went skiing there. It was a great skiing experience and it must be said that today, the conditions were optimal!
Looking forward,
