HELLO fellow splinterlands fanatics. I'm back with another exciting topic. NEW REWARDS CARDS have been previewed from the latest AMA, and they are about to improve their respective splinters significantly.
INTRODUCING...
LAVA LAUNCHER AND DJINN OSHANNUS!
Let's start our discussion with LAVA LAUNCHER:
A rare card for the fire splinter. This really screams YODIN TEAM without a doubt. At level one, he doesn't have enough armor and life to be the main tank in my opinion. Though he is an excellent choice for a second tank.
Once this card reaches level 5, you can feel its dominance with its stun ability. If you put this with YODIN as your summoner, that range damage with explosion would wipeout the enemy's front line. One stun could already give you the game.
Only 40 cards to upgrade it to level 5. with the current players now, the market will be flooded with lava launcher cards in no time.
Next is DJINN OSHANNUS:
Have you notice anything different?...
YES!!! IT'S A NEW ABILITY!!!
That would keep you awake for days until we finally see it on action.
As you can see, Djinn is somewhat an anti-magic magic character. This would be an excellent first or second tank if you expect a head on collision with a magic water splinter battle.
As you can see, Djinn's ability mostly battles magic attacks.
VOID, which reduces magic attack damage by 1. And PHASE, which allows you to dodge magic attack. With a speed of 5, that can really stand up to most magic team.
Having said that, I am expecting that the new ability is related to anti-magic.
For fun, here are my top guesses for the skill:
- Reduces target's magic damage.
- double damage on mage
- like a snipe attack, but focuses on mage. - (I know, this guess sucks.)
- stun for mages - (becuase it looks like a magic net...)
- MAGE KILLER! - instant kill for mage.(I highly doubt my guess. hahaha!)

I think the new ability looks a little like a jelly fish. I wonder if it will be some sort of sting ability - maybe a bit like a water version of thorns?
