Another Season goes by where most of my time and focus remains on land. Even more so this last Season as the land cards finally arrived and have impacted my position across the ecosystem. The amount of cards burned for Cinder and the impact to resource prices has me focused on more development to get to a better spot for my land which remains my focus. I haven’t paid much attention to the game play other than maintaining my daily quests in Frontier.

However, the bot continues to get the job done and position itself well in the leaderboard to gather enough Glint to continue my journey to completing the latest reward set at maxed level. Luckily, I did not have to sacrifice any of my playing cards to Cinder as I remain a Collectionist at heart and have to have everything. That may be changing soon though.

I continue to get good progress with my reward cards but the latest release of jackpot cards is putting my strategy into question. It seems like chests are better than draws considering the chance to get these new and limited cards considered jackpots. I do not really like it much as the constraints make these cards highly valued in the market to achieve a maxed set. It will be something to look at soon.

I have started to see an impact to my SPS earnings as it seems that more land is chasing after it which has lowered the amounts I am earning from land. This is an issue as it is the main reason why my land is currently considered sustainable as I could sell SPS for land resources needed to produce everything; however, I never have. As I no longer have excess resources due to my land card minting, it may be something I have to do going forward.
The changes due to land cards have made a dramatic shift to my strategy going forward. I am no longer in a comfortable spot despite my continued deployment into land and the game. Trade offs are likely coming for me in the near future which will likely require a decision on focusing on one area instead of the ecosystem in general. It is sad as I think it impacts everyone and more will likely make decisions that can impact the game’s economy. Time will tell.
