Off the top of my head I can think of Little League. Not sure if there are any others right now but there may be other rulesets in the future that would not allow Lux Vega and we just wanted to make sure people didn't think she could be used in every battle no matter what.

On taking sides Matt said at the conference that ruleset only applied to monsters so this summoner would be able to be used in that particular ruleset.
