Introduction
Hello everyone! Welcome to my Weekly Battle Challenge! This time I'm participating in a new type of challenge - focused on a particular rule instead of the card. This type of challenge will surely bring more strategy variety, but I find it a bit annoying since the required ruleset could take some time to find and win a battle with it.
Ruleset for this week's challenge is: Armored Up
Since all Monsters have 2 additional Armor in this ruleset, the key to winning is to bring Magic attacking Monsters, Void Armor, Armor Repair, and Rust abilities. It is also a good idea to bring Phase and Void Monsters in anticipation of Magic attackers from your opponent.
Featured battle allowed a total of 49 mana to be spent, and the open elements were Earth, Life, Death and Dragon. Ruleset combination was completed with Melee Mayhem and Blast.
My Team:
Grandmaster Rathe is a defensive Life summoner that provides +1 Armor and Void Armor, quite a strong combination for any defensively oriented team. In this battle, Grandmaster Rathe turned additional armor to Void armor.
Uriel the Purifier is a strong frontliner that makes great use of Void Armor. He has decent speed and Flying ability which comes in handy against slower and grounded enemies, and Heal ability makes him quite sturdy. Defenitely a prefered choice for a frontliner in Chaos Legion set.
Venator Kinjo is amazing supporting monster in Blast rulesets that provides protection with Reflection Shield. Othern than that, he also brings a point of speed control with Slow ability.
Djinn Renova is a high magic damage supporting creature with Strengthen and Triage abilities. Her main job is to provide healingg support to the backline with Triage ability all while dishing out that sweet magic damage.
What needs to be said about Adelade Brightwing? She's such an amazing card in combination with Grandmaster Rathe. Ressurecting frontliner with a Void Armor is strong strategy, and on top of that she even keeps that armor repaired.
Jared Scar - a scary Arena Master with deadly combination of Bloodlust, True Strike and Piercing. Once he gets a kill, he just keeps on going. Recent Dispel buff makes it possible for stat-boosts to be removed, but in Melee Mayhem rulesets when he gets to attack from the backline is too good to pass.
Supply Runner is a decent Ranged attacker that brings Swiftness to the team helping with a point of speed manipulation.
Gameplan
The idea behind my team is to take advantage of additional Armor with Grandmaster Rathe's Void Armor ability and to play for a long game with all of the sustaining abilities of my Monsters, including: Self Heal, Triage, Armor Repair and Ressurect. Venator Kinjo and Supply Runner increase total speed control by 2 points and my win condition is the Bloodlusting Jared Scar.
Battle Link
Turn 1
First turn of the battle is pretty uninventful since both teams have Blast protection in form of Reflect Shield and sustaining compositions. My Jared Scar missed the killing blow on Pelacor Conjurer by 1 health, but the Angel was killed by Adelade making opposing Adelade use Ressurect early in the battle.
Turn 2
In this turn my Uriel gets Ressurected and Jared Scar delivers a killing blow. Since opposing team doesn't have Dispel ability on hand, Jared Scar will be a tough to deal with.
Turn 3
In this turn Jared Scar managed to get another kill. Not on the main target, but on the opposing Adelade with Blast damage. Uriel and Bosun also fall in this round.
Turn 4
Jared's onslaught doesn't stop and most of the opposing Monsters are down. War Pegasus is the only survivor for now.
Turn 5
Jared Scar delivers the finishing blow to War Pegasus and gets 4th Bloodlust boost of the battle.

Conclusion
Both me and my opponent had similar ideas about our lineups. Grandmaster Rathe is a strong summoner for Armored Up ruleset and with high mana battles. Both teams had Blast protection in form of Reflection Shield provided by Venator Kinjo, on my side, and Corsair Bosun on the opposition. The deciding factor in winning this battle was taking advantage of Melee Mayhem ruleset, which my opponent neglected. Jared Scar proved his worth once again, and is the deciding factor that keeps me going back to Life element in that, and similar rulesets which allow melee monsters to attack from anywhere.
