I am so happy to be part of the journey of the evolving Splinterlands, and I also share my insights regarding the game on a regular basis. As my participation in the "Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Paths to Power" in this post, I am going to talk about the importance of the reward cards in the Splinterlands, especially for the modern format of battle. There are currently four battle formats in the Splinterlands game: the Frontier, Modern, Wild, and Survival Mode, which is now postponed for the time being, whereas the first three are active. Among all of these formats, the frontier format is free for all with the free cards and still it provide the free cards rewards that can be sold in the market where as the core edition's rewards cards are soulbound cards and can not be sold in the market without paying the unlocking payment.

The wild format needs the access fees of 2000 DEC to join and with the benefit of being able to play with any cards from any editions in the battle. So, this one also has limited scopes for the players. Finally, the modern format which is free with the latest two cards edition as per the game strategies. And this format is the best rewarding format with maximum SPS rewards, glint tokens. It also required the most expensive cards and the modern mode is also the most difficult one as the bot farming is extremely prohibited in this battle mode.
