As Batu draws on his mana he feels the storm feeding on it. There is something about the storm that does not feel right. He shakes off the feeling of uneasiness and focuses on the task at hand.

With the mana he has available he summons an phantasm, spineback wolf, skeleton assassin, creeping ooze and a furious chicken.
That should give me a speed advantage over my opponent he thinks to himself, I just hope my skeleton assassin can hold his own long enough to do some damage.

The old mage attacks with a bone golem, horny toad, tower griffin and cursed slimeball.
The cursed slimeball is quickly cutdown by the skeleton assassin. The phantasm is able to dodge multiple attacks buying time to kill the bone golem.

Batu knows now that he has it . All that is left is to clean up the tower griffin and horny toad. The skeleton assassin makes short work of the tower griffin and with no one left to help him the horny toad falls quickly.

The old mage reaches into his robe. He pulls out an old scroll and offers it to Batu. Batu glances at the mages old boney hand , dry and full of wrinkles.

“Well don’t just stand there, I need my rest.”retorted the old mage. “Take the scroll and be quick about it.”
Batu quickly grabs the scroll and the old mage turns and walks away.

The storm grows stronger and a heavy rain sets in. Batu safely stashes the scroll and heads back the way he had come. In search for a dry place to sleep.
