Splinterlands Journey (Week 1)

in #splinterlands3 years ago

I stumbled into this game during my search of the best Pay To Earn NFT game. Being a Hearthstone player, I thought that this would be a breeze but I could not be more wrong.

Unlike Hearthstone which to some extend depends on luck (the cards you draw), Splinterlands depends heavily on skill. So if you lack the skill and try to bulldoze through, you’ll be having a pretty hard time like what I experienced in my first couple of days

While the USD$10 might seem like a huge barrier, personally I’m enjoying this game thus far and I would urge you to jump the bandwagon before regretting in the near future of not joining sooner.

There are tons of affiliate links to sign up with but if you wish to do something nice and make my day, you may sign up with my affiliate link below. See you in SPL

Hello @romeotango! This is @traciyork from the @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) curation team. We noticed you shared your first post here on Hive - congratulations and welcome! It would also be awesome if you could do an introduction post, so our community can get to know you better. For an example of what an intro post is like, you can check out this one by my friend & curation team member -

Also, as Hive can sometimes be quite confusing, the newly launched Newbies Guide should be helpful to you, as it is a growing repository of useful and easy to understand posts about how the Hive ecosystem works.

Since you're new, you may run into an RC (Resource Credits) error when trying to comment/post because you don't yet have enough Hive in your account yet. For assistance with a temporary delegation to get you started, be sure to check out the Gift Giver site.

For now, @lovesniper will follow your account and we are looking forward to seeing your intro post. Also, please mention (also known as tagging) @traciyork & @lovesniper in your intro post in order for us to be notified, so we can consider your post for OCD curation. Lastly, feel free to hop into the OCD Discord server if you have any questions, and good luck with getting your own cards soon!

Cool, great that you like the game so far. Funny to read that Splinterlands is much more skill based than Hearthstone. Keep playing and grow your account and keep posting here. Use a nice cover image for each post to attract more readers. There is a bit of a learning curve to get those juicy upvotes. here is a little start for you in SPT!
