Splinterlands Slumlord Update almost EOY 2025...

So did we all have fun crafting out LAND cards, I certainly did - I jiggled the cards, got ahead with the aura and crafted and sold 1 legendaries and i think 6 epics in total, and I minted my 174 common land cards, and they are now mostly doing their thang....

I didn't bother minting the rare cards, I just sold ma wood into the high price, made more sense.

This is quite different from the last update I did back in September - basically less stone as the price has dropped, not like a stone, but gradually, and more wood, iron, and aura.

NB I'm not running a grain deficit either when you look at my taxes from the castle, son happy days!

Region Overview...

There are currently 358 plots developed in the region with a further 32 in development...

This is better than the 332 total I had a few months back, so we are FINALLY heading in the right direction for my tax base!

Final thoughts...

I've enjoyed the recent land card sales, it was nice to take part at a mid-range level, but I'm still a bit annoyed the way the game favours the whales - this means it's irrational for me to take part in Labour's Luck for example as I can't compete. There was no point going for a maxxie when I don't have 100K PP on any plots, I'd be so unlikely to score a card it'd just be as disappointing as the totem fragments I almost never get.

So I just sold most of my land cards.

It's weird that I've got $20K of assets still in the game, even with declining prices and I'm in the 'common land card category' - my allocation for legendary cards was... ONE.

What else can I do other than sell...?!?
