Hi guys, in this week's Splinterlands Share Your Battle Challenge, we have been tasked to fight a match with Waver Runner. For those who doesn't Waver Runner is a water card who has the Reach ability (melee attack monsters with reach ability can attack in the second position), when the level of the card goes up he gains 2 more abilities: knock out (does double damage when attacking a stuned opponent) on level 5 and snare on level 9 (when attacking enemies withi flie, removes the flying abilitie of monsters, this abilitie can't miss).
THE MATCH
These were the rules of the game
The last 5 matches of my opponent in this match was with Alric Stormbringer (+1 magic attack for friendly monsters) or Malric Inferno (+1 melee attack for friendly monsters) so i tried to counter him utilizing Bortus (-1 magic attack for enemy monsters) + Frozen Soldier, that way i could play safely aggainst malric but if a played aggainst alric it could be bad (i tried my luck here, i confess).
My line-up for the game was the following
To my surprise my opponent choose the death deck with Zintar Mortalis (-1 melee damage to all enemy monsters) what countered my team very hard.
The result couldn't have been different, i lost.
For those who wants to watch the full match check the link below:
Analysis of Wave Runner
This card has a good distribution between his stats, considering his 5 mana cost he has 4 hp, 3 speed and 2 melee damage (lvl 1 card). He can outrun the majority of the cards of the same level, if you play him with Creeping Ooze it would be even better.
Remind that the proposal of the challenge isn't to win a match, it is to try other things in the your matchs, try to utilize the cards and understand when a certain monster can be good or not.
That's all for this week guys, i hope you like the post, next week we will try again with another estrategy (i hope i can win next time).
Thanks for sharing! - @alokkumar121
You lost the battle but used nice card placement however opponent player had slightly better cards. Try to explain more about the cards and battle which will make your post look good.
