In a few hours, Splinterland's current season will be over, and a new season will start. In short, this will mark the end of the last season that will end this year. There is lot of things that happened favorably for me in this season and I will say it is not luck but constant effort to upgrade my cards, observing the battles to learn and understand some strategies so that i can use the same in my battles to increase my win rates.

In my recent adventure, I got ahead to purchase the level 5 Kaylia Silverleaf and it was one of the most costly purchases that caused me to shed $38.293 in a single card. At current, I am not going to use this cards in my battles as my cards are not upto the mark for level 5 Archon. I still purchased it because I see it is fairly priced around 96 cents per BCX, opposed to $1.1 to $1.5 per BCX. Also, I see opportunity to earn passive income from this card. I purchased this cards using my alt account and rented it. Now it is earning some 800+ DEC every season for me.

Also, I went ahead to purchase the Conclave Arcana "epic" rewards cards and, now my collection is complete with the all the single copies of the epic reaward cards, In some case it is upgraded to the level 2 also.

For the epic cards, I went ahead to shop 25 epic cards, that cost me 375K Glints. Again this is the lot of Glint to be consumed.

I also used 250 Alchemy potions for this purchase and I guess this potion luck paid off as I got 1 Gold foil epic Legendary card too. Currently I sold of that gold epic card at cheap to fund my future purchase as my last bigger purchase of Kaylia Silverleaf left me some kind of negative balance.(that I used funds that are not supposed for upgrade.) So below are the glimpse of my current Conclave Arcana rewards epic cards.

It is not only above are my efforts for the card upgrades, there are lot of documented and undocumented effort to upgrade my cards and which I have also mentioned in my previous post and below are the excepts from it.

For me, I started the Conclave Arcana journey by buying the starter packs, Opening of starter packs limited my deck to the common and the rare cards and one can hardly expect to win matches with these limited decks. On the other hand, I have saved nice amount of glints that I used to purchase the Conclave Arcana Legendary reward cards. Actaually, I have all the Conclave Arcana Legendary Rewards card in my collection and in coming days , I am going to d o the same for the Conclave Arcana Epic rewards card. I also keep an eye on Underrated gem cards and keep buying and upgrading them by buying copies of the cards from the market too.

Sometime I post or sometimes I do not but I do not neglect the chance for upgrading the Archons. Also I observed that I have better results of win with the Archon Kaylia Silverleaf, So I kept upgrading it. But it does not mean that I upgrade that Archon only, I also purchase Mahkah Hemlig, a legendary Earth splinter to further improve my win rate. This does not meant that I ignored other archons all together, after upgrading my favourite Kaylia Silverleaf , I di put my attention to upgrade the other archons too.

Upgrading of the Archons is of no use unless the monsters they are going to command are not upgraded at all. So I keep upgrading the cards to make my battle team stronger .

If you just upgrade your cards and do not measure your progress, then I guess, uou are missing the learning experience and result quantification of your upgrade process. So I keep checking the progress and performance of my account periodically.

And definitely, this season went well for me as compared to the last season. in which not only I have reached the Bronze league, but in the current season I am also in the top 50 as of now , exactly at rank 41. Let see how this season end for me.

I am in top 11 now, but I am ceasing playing for last minute rush this time. Let this season ended and dust settles in for couple of hours in the new season then I will kick in my campaign in the new year (in GMT time) and see how much I will able to achieve in the new season and new year.

Even though, I am doing good rank wise in frontier league, but i know there are lot of weakness in my deck that exist in my deck. There are two ways to address this weakness that i should buy targeted cards or I go with the luck and excitement of the pack opening. Though I believe in fixing the deck weakness immediately, but I do not like to miss the excitement of the pack opening too.

My deck upgradation is the continuous process and I do not see any reason that it will getting halted or paused in next season. I will keep upgrading my cards and will do share if I put some big and game changing upgrades on my account.
