Splinterland's: A lucky day and why you should play Frontier mode too.

I have been playing Frontier mode close to a couple of months now, and my main motivation for playing Frontier mode is the rewards card we get in the daily chest for playing the Frontier mode. The reward cards that we get are the part of the "Foundation" collection. Though the cards in the Foundation collections are having just "half" the max level of the cards that are available in other collections but Foundation cards are designed to give a start to players in the beginner league and this is the only mode in the Splinterland's game where you get cards in the daily quest.

So my cards upgrade and daily playing effort have rewarded me now, as I am able to unlock the Silver 1 league in the Frontier mode. It is quite an happy achievement because I am still struggling to reach Silver 3 in the "Modern" league.

Good thing is that I got 15 loot chests and since Splinterland's season rewards also do not contain any free loot chests and you just get the Glints as rewards that can be used to buy the loot chest from the reward shop. So feeling of getting free "loot" chest is now a rare feeling. In current scenario you get free loot chests when you advance the league tiers.

When I opened the 15 chest, I got an "epic" card and 4 common cards. I also got 6 energy, and in my case, this free energy also proved crucial as it helped me to complete the 3 daily quests (or winning 15 battles in a single day.). So I went ahead and completed all the daily quests and got the loot chest for completing the daily quests.

Since I completed this quest, maintaining my Silver 1 league rankings, I got 4 cards. (In the Silver 2 league, you get only 3 cards.). Again my luck, I pulled one more "epic" card in the daily and 3 common cards.

In my second daily loot chest, I do not get any epic card but I got 2 rare cards and 2 common cards. But I am still having the luck as I pulled a summoner card as one of the rare pull.

I guess, I might have more expectation in my third loot chest but I got one rare card and 3 common cards. Overall, in a single day, I have picked 2 Epic cards, 3 rare cards, including a summoner/archon card, and 12 common cards. Overall, it is a good day, though having a legendary will make a story more intersting.

So I started my day under 1600 rating points and ended my day at 1820 points, from where Gold league also looks in sight. To be honest, my cards are still not that strong that I can keep crushing in the Silver league of Frontier mode, as I my Fire and Water summoner are still at level 1 only. So all these wins make me happier, but in the coming days, upgrading both the Fire and Water Archons to level 2 will be my top priority.

When I unlocked the Bronze 1 league, I also got to open the 5 loot chests. To my surprise, these 5 loot chests yielded 3 rare cards. I am sure, that I am lucky here, otherwise rewards generally do not come so great.

Anyways, my next target is to reach Silver 3 and hopefully I will be adding more cards to my collection in the coming days. I feel road to Silver is going to be much more tough and my next upgrade of card might help me in cementing my place in Bronze 1 instead of helping to go past Silver 3.

But anyways, let me have some optimism and work towards in identifying more cards, that will help me to reach my goal sooner.
