Having trouble with Resource Credits lately?

in #splinterlands3 years ago

I've been having problems with resource credits (RC) this past week but I haven't had these issue before. Stumbled upon an article on PeakD about it and it is a good read. You can access the article on this URL https://peakd.com/hive-198327/@peak.answers/what-is-rc-resource-credits-how-to-get-more.

I also went to discord and got this answer:
"Oops, it looks like you don't have enough Resource Credits to transact on the Hive blockchain. Error: undefined / This account has already received the maximum delegation."

Short answer: RC recharges for free constantly. Stake some HIVE on Hive Wallet or Hive Key Chain. 5-10 should be enough. Users often run out of RC when they rented/bought to much in a short period.

Long answer: Because the majority of Splinterlands consists of blockchain transactions, a small amount of Resource Credits are required to play. On the Hive blockchain, resources come from staked HIVE, or HIVE Power.

Resource Credits recharge at a set rate of 10% per 24 hours, so depending on the amount of staked HIVE in a player's account and their frequency of play, it is possible to run out of sufficient resources, but only temporarily.

HIVE can be powered up (staked) instantly through a HIVE wallet or the Keychain Extension. When powered up, your HIVE becomes locked in and converts to HIVE Power, which increases your voting power and resource credits on the blockchain. Failed rents also cost RC!

There is a channel dedicated to Resource Credits: rc-issues-request.

Example:
-Send DEC to your HIVE wallet: In Splinterlands go to DEC > Select wallet > HIVE Engine Wallet > Transfer OUT > OK >OK
-Go to your wallet on https://hive-engine.com/ > Market > Sell DEC for HIVE (you need RC for this)
-On Hive Engine go to the wallet tab and press Withdraw > currency: HIVE > Enter amount > No memo needed > Withdraw
-You will now see the HIVE in your https://wallet.hive.blog/
-Click on the dropdown named Hive > select Power Up.
This will give you a one time boost of RC + faster RC in the future. LeoDex is cheaper
