Challenge Rules
DISINTEGRATOR
Edition: CHAOS LEGION
Rarity: COMMON
Element: NEUTRAL
Attack: MELEE
Abilities: Demoralize
Battle Ruleset
Standard: No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics.
Lineup Strategy
We're using this Summoner for the +1 armor buff it provides to our team. It also gives us access to our tank monster from the Dragon Splinter. We'll be using a Dragon+Death Splinter lineup in this matchup.
Our featured card will be our backup tank placed on the 2nd position in our lineup. Its Demoralize ability that reduces the Melee attack of all enemy Monsters will be quite useful if our opponent decides to use Melee attack monsters.
This card's Snipe ability can eliminate enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position.
At the last position is Silent Sha-vi who will protect our team from Sneak attacks. It also has the Sneak attack that targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.

Our opponent used a Summoner that boosts Ranged attacks but chose only 2 Ranged monsters. However, Pelacor Arbalest will be quite troublesome because of its Double Strike ability along with the additional 2 armor that Truthspeaker adds to the enemy team.
Round 1 had a great start for our team since we were able to eliminate 2 of our opponent's key cards. Death Elemental was able to kill the enemy Truthspeaker using its Snipe ability removing the +2 armor buff on the enemy team. Silent Sha-vi also eliminated Pelacor Arbalest using its Sneak ability.
Silent Sha-vi eliminated another enemy monster on Round 2. The +1 Ranged attack buff of the enemy Summoner is now useless since we already eliminated our opponent's Ranged monsters.
Silent Sha-vi once again eliminated another enemy monster on Round 3. Although we also lost one of our monsters in this round, we are still at the advantage since we still have our hitters Silent Sha-vi and Djinn Chwala on our side of the battlefield.
Silent Sha-vi for the third time, eliminated another enemy monster on Round 4. Djinn Chwala threw the last hit eliminating the remaining enemy monster for a sweet victory.
Conclusion
Although our opponent had a solid lineup with Armor and Ranged attack buffs but our team was quick in eliminating these threats with their Snipe and Sneak abilities. It all went south for our opponent after those monsters buffing his team were eliminated.
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
Disintergrator's ability did not have that much impact to our opponent's lineup since there were only 2 Melee attack monsters. Good thing the good old Sneak and Snipe combination gave us the advantage we needed to win this battle.
Do you like the DISINTEGRATOR? Why or why not?
I like using Disintegrator in medium to high mana battles because of its sturdy health and armor that's well suited for a tank or backup tank. Its Demoralize ability that reduces the Melee attack of all enemy monsters is also quite useful when confronting Melee attack enemy monsters.
I hope you enjoyed watching our featured battle today. Till next time fellow Splinterlands fans. Have a great weekend!!!
What is Splinterlands?
Splinterlands is a digital, collectible card game built on blockchain technology. It is similar in concept to games like Magic the Gathering and Heartstone where you build up a collection of cards, which all have various different stats and abilities, and use them to battle other players in skill-based matches. By using a blockchain technology, players can buy, sell and trade their digital assets freely just as if they were physical cards, and all transactions are recorded publicly and immutably.
