Guide to Getting Champion League

Hi everyone, how's it going? Today, I hit champion III in Splinterlands. I only spent around 4 dollars, not including the 10 dollars needed for starter pack. I started playing Splinterlands 9 days ago, but I have played many card games in the past like Hearthstone and League of Legends autochess.

To climb to champion III, I would recommend buying the dragon splinter and getting it to level 2. This is key, because now you can use level 3 common cards and level 2 epic and rare cards from every class as long as the dragon splinter is not banned. Also, the dragon splinter Drake of Arnak is quite cheap, and is only 0.27$ per card. Combine 5 of the, and get level 2 Drake of Arnak. Its bonus is quite useful as well, since it gives 1 armor to all your creeps. I would also combo furious chicken and always put furious chicken in the first spot to give your other monsters protection.

Next, I would try to level up my earth splinter cards such as wood nymph, screeching vulture, unicorn mustang. Afterwards, buy a mushroom seer, centauri mage, and mitica headhunter. Those cards are quite powerful when used together. Those cards do very well against popular cards like spirit miner and ruler of the sees. Also, level up goblin mech to level 3, as it is quite a powerful card for the lower levels. While you're at it, buy a fire spitter as it is a decent card.

Also, use strong classes like the fire splinter pyre, and use cards like living lava, fire elemental, spark pixies, and buy zalran elfleet as it is a decent card.

Important tips:

1. The rules set in Splinterlands is key! Always make a team that follows the rules well!

2. Try to use all the mana available to you

3. Remember to position your monsters well. Put furious chicken in first spot, then your slow melee monster in the second spot. Put magic monsters in the next spots, then ranged monsters. Put ooze in last spot to play around sneak cards.
