One mistake I also made and needed to correct: you can't find the ambassador by clicking on your user name in the top right but by clicking on the cog wheel.

I think this was true in the old set-up and I've seen other players make the same error in their post, the only place where clicking my name brings me is in the profile / statistics page 🙂
