Given the news today, 25 September 2023, on where Yabamatt is going to raise capital, here's a proposal:

Proposal Summary: Integrating Branded Hive Crypto Tokens as Game Rewards in Splinterlands

Objective

To generate a new revenue stream for Splinterlands by integrating Hive-based crypto tokens as game rewards in daily focus chests. These tokens will be brand-specific and offer real-world discounts and benefits. The initial partnership will be with

[Subway, for example, but insert any company with branded tokens],

offering players unique Subway Tokens they can earn during ranked play, and redeem for discounts at Subway outlets.

Business Opportunity

  1. For Splinterlands:

    • New revenue from brands like Subway, paying for advertising and customer engagement.
    • Increased user engagement as players are motivated to win tokens with real-world utility.
  2. For Brands (Subway in the pilot):

    • Targeted advertising to a captive and engaged audience.
    • Customer acquisition and loyalty through a unique, gamified experience.

Financials

  • Subway will pay an initial fee to Splinterlands for the integration, and then ongoing fees based on engagement metrics.
  • The fees will be calculated based on the size and engagement of the game's player market.

In my opinion, new player experience is incredibly important since it is and will always be the primary driver to Splinterlands market size, but it will not be a significant revenue stream for the Steem Monsters corporation. However, if the Splinterlands market size is huge, so will be the branding opportunity for branded tokens, and this is where the corporation can attract significant investment. Remember, investors are interested in revenue streams to the company, not to the community.
