There was a time when the Peaceful Giant, with its 17 base health points, lead all monsters in terms of health. But as @splinterlands has evolved strange occurrences have been rumored.
Now we capture something remarkable in real game play between @warrentrx and @dhimmel. @warrentrx plays the Earth summoner Scarred Llama Mage, which provides a last stand ability to the lead monster and cleanses it of poison.
Meanwhile the Gelatinous Cube grows in health slowly as monsters pass way. @dhimmel resurrects three times leading to more monsters to die and extra health points being scavenged by the Gelatinous Cube.
As @dhimmel dies of fatigue, the Gelatinous Cube peaks at 41 health points. Here's a screenshot from round 26 at 39 health points:
What a sight!
P.S. major upvote from @dhimmel for anyone who captures a screenshot with the 41 health points!
Yeah because he had resurrected monsters 3x and some of his monsters don't have attacks which feeds the cube even more! Lol.
How does that feed the cube? Just because those monsters aren't attacking the cube?
Every time a monster dies the cube gets +1. So if your monster died it's +1 but then it gets resurrected - when it dies again it's another +1 to the cube.
Yes, and I had three resurrections in this match, which is the most possible currently: one from the summoner, Chanseus the Great, one from Angel of Light, and one from High Priest Darius.
