Linking a battle is SUPER easy, and yes, I do like the option to easily go watch them (I watch a LOT of battles)... and a main goal of this initiative is to get new folks playing. It's nice if they have a link they can follow when they want to 'see it in action'.
Here's a screenshot of where you can grab a link to any of your battles to drop in your post:
