Week 1 - Average Player Account Progression

in #splinterlands3 years ago

Intro

As a new player that joined just after the prices started soaring I wanted to provide some expectations for other new players by tracking my progress with no dec purchases.

As a disclaimer I have purchased the following:
Spellbook - $10
Quest Potions - $7.50

Quest potions seemed to be recommended from what I could see across the community so I decided to spend a little more and see what happened, then decide if I wanted to continue purchasing them.

Account Stats

The past few days have been pretty brutal connection wise so I have taken a hit with a large amount of surrenders and combined with daily quests for splinters I don't know much about my win rate is not something to be envious of!
With pretty much bang on 50% W/L then I feel I can safely describe myself as an average player.

Daily Quest Rewards

Now in to the probably the most interesting part for people.
What quest rewards did I get for the week:

Alchemy Potion: 9
Legendary Potion: 6
DEC: 1383
Cards:
Harvester x2
Nightmare x2
Sand Worm x2
Charlok Minotaur
Phantasm
Ant Miners
Chain Spinner

Got lucky with a 1175 DEC drop on day 6 that I can't complain about!

DEC Tracking

Adding in the DEC from my wins across the week too I finish with a total of 2434.
If we remove the luck reward then a decent expectation for a bronze player would be around 1300 DEC a week.

Let me know if this was of any interest to you, as someone that has played rce games in the past I like to track things by habit.
If you have any feedback or suggestions for improvements then let me know in the comments!

Also, as Hive can sometimes be quite confusing, the newly launched Newbies Guide should be helpful to you, as it is a growing repository of useful and easy to understand posts about how the Hive ecosystem works.

Since you're new, you may run into an RC (Resource Credits) error when trying to comment/post because you don't yet have enough Hive in your account yet. For assistance with a temporary delegation to get you started, be sure to check out the Gift Giver site.

For now, @lovesniper will follow your account and we are looking forward to seeing your intro post. Also, please mention (also known as tagging) @traciyork & @lovesniper in your intro post in order for us to be notified, so we can consider your post for OCD curation.
