The strategy

I chose this lineup because of the Little League ruleset I got to battle with. I had a strong feeling that the opponent would use Magic. So I focused on reducing life and attacking almost everything but the tank with the backline.

Having Animated Corpse as a tank gave me some solid damage and at least a couple of rounds with the 6 of life it has got. Skeleton Assassin as fast cannon fodder, in case the tank failed early.
Since Magic was a strong chance, Parasitic Growth would take care of the Pixies in two turns. And get protected as it is in the middle of the team.

In hindsight, I'd swap places between the Dark Astronomer and the Twisted Jester. To take advantage of the speed the former has, and protect it some more. In case the opponent was using some other combination other than straight to the tank.

And to make things a bit easier, and as a preventive fodder, in last position the Undead Priest. To lower life and give a couple of turns of protection to the archers in case needed.

The thoughts

The strategy worked, due to the Little League, the options were a bit limited. Algo got quite lucky that the opponent used Magic as I thought it would.

If the Venari Wavesmith were in play it might have not worked at all. Due to the speed differences and the extra armor.

I liked Animated Corpse (missing it already?) but it's not on my main rotation. The combination between high life and the low mana cost is great. It's also quite useful on the Reverse ruleset.

These weekly challenges and the @splinterlands game in itself are awesome and a great way to get into the whole ecosystem.
