Kretch is a great summoner, I use him as well for when I'm using up my ECR. The 2 biggest drawbacks for him are when it comes to daily quests of other splinters and low mana battles. You cannot complete other splinter quests if you pick him and in low mana fights, the lack of summoner buff hurts.
