We've had a few requests by players and owners to add single-card rentals from the Peakmonsters market to their Herons Unlimited accounts. At first this seemed like it might be a lot of trouble for me to manage, but fortunately Peak's system has a couple of features that will allow them to manage their own rentals without having to have any more access than they already do.
Peakcredit
Fortunately Peakmonsters is set up to allow accounts to deposit into other accounts' Peak Credit balance. So if you're playing on @green-heron, for instance, you can send Steem or SBD from your own account to @peakcredit with the memo "deposit:green-heron" and it will end up in @green-heron's balance.
This allows anyone who wants to to manage rentals. (You could also buy cards with it, but don't. Any cards owned by HU accounts will be exchanged for DEC.)
Renting
Once you have money in your Peakcredit account, you can rent cards with only the posting key, which the players already have in order to play and the owners can have on request. Simply log into Peakmonsters as the heron account and rent whatever cards you want.
Ongoing Maintenance
Since you can do this all without my help, whoever is doing the rentals is responsible for keeping enough Peak Credit in the account to maintain them. Owners and players can negotiate amongst themselves over what rentals they want and who pays for them. However, if you're doing this please let me know who any Peak Credit balance in the account belongs to, as you'll require my assistance if you ever want to withdraw it.
This works using Steem Keychain
...but it doesn't necessarily work with SteemConnect. I recommend using Keychain, it's great, but if for some reason you can't you'll have to contact me to authorize the account before you can log into Peakmonsters using SteemConnect.
This makes steemmonsters and heron accounts even better. So easy to add core cards to a heron account until you have enough cash to buy the cards outright.
Try before you buy. Let's see if the player can use the rented cards to win more tournaments.

Changes in Peakmonsters' system have made it so that I need to manually enable this ability for your account. DM me in Discord if you're looking to do this.
