Splinterlands Card Giveaway

Each week I host a giveaway for one of the original Reward Edition Splinterlands cards. Most of these cards have been out-of-print for almost two years, so new players can only get them in the market, and that can be pretty expensive. These giveaways are a way to help players build their deck for free.

This Week's Giveaway

For this week's Blast From The Past Giveaway, I'm giving away the most terrifying card from the original set of reward edition cards, a Goblin Mech.

The Goblin Mech has proven time and again to unstable and untrustworthy. Who among us has not had victory snatched from the palm of our hands when our Goblin Mech has malfunctioned, killing our entire remaining team in the arena? I know I for one have! Why this unstable contraption has not been banned from league play, I'll never know. Perhaps it's because it a huge crowd pleaser, and what pleases the crowd stays!

Even with the recent price correction on Splinterlands cards, the cheapest Level 1 Goblin Mech card is still $1.30 on the Splinterlands market. That means it is worth many times the 15 DEC you would get from burning the card to extract the DEC locked within it. So don't even think about sending this card to the burn tanks!

If you are just starting out and haven't been able to add a Goblin Mech to your deck or just need another one to level up, then you should get in on this giveaway. The Goblin Mech card will be sent to one lucky winner when this contest closes at post payout time.

If this Goblin Mech card doesn't fit in with your master plan for Splinterlands domination, or if you lack the skill and wisdom necessary to achieve victory with it, you can always rent it to someone else or try to sell it in the market.
