Confessions of a Fatigue Troll Part 2

After my experience with pacifism last week, I decided to experiment with return fire. I hit queue and up pops:

Mana 24.
Close Range.
Spreading Fury.
Water/Life/Death/Dragon.

How could someone resist using ranged attackers with those options? It's Lir Deepswimmer's time to shine.

The Battle

I rock up with my trusted Frozen Soldier, his shield will help mitigate the physical damage that I hope is coming because I'm screwed if my opponent just plays magic. Next up is my Furious Chicken, he is there ready to return fire if an archer attempts to snipe him.

Next we have my battering ram, a low mana monster with opportunity, he will hopefully help finish off low health monsters, especially ones looking to assassinate my fragile back line, I also didn't have that many 2 mana cannon fodder options.

Rounding out the back line is an Ice Pixie, I needed to fill my board and it's nice to have a slightly less slow magic attacker in there for 2 mana.

One of the key pieces is my Pirate Archer, ranged with blast. There isn't a ton of damage on my team and like the Battering Ram, Pirate Archer is going to need to help me pick off the weaker members of the opposition team.

Finally we have my Water Elemental, this was a must have for me. Ranged in a battle that allows ranged characters to shoot even in position one, healing in a battle that allows enrage, and my fatigue troll tendencies do shine through when I have the opportunity to put a healing monster in the last slot.

I won't spoil it for you, suffice to say it was very close and could've gone either way.
