Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Card Strategy Guides - PELACOR STURGIS

Hey Splintermates, how are you doing? Here we are again with another episode of SplinterBam`s tips and tricks.

This week we have been asked by the team to share a Card Strategy Guide. As I always do, I encourage all Splinterlands players outside to participate in these challenges, increase the visibility of the game on Social Medias and have some additional earnings. PELACOR STURGIS COMBO

In low mana battles, the power of the Weapons Training ability is amazing. They provide to the adjacent cards the some attack and level of power as the card has.

In my particular battle, there is an amazing sinergy between most of the cards that allows me winning the battle.

Not sure if you have already checked, but my Summoner is a lvl 5 General Sloan and my enemy has a lvl 8 Obsidian. This is a huge disadvantage in Splinterlands. But lets explain in more depth the card combination:

1- AVES STURGIS:

It is a legendary card. The type of card already states the power that it has. I have a lvl 2 card, so it has not only the weapons training ability, but it also has Divine Shield. The Divine Shield provides to Aves Sturgis extra tank capacity. Basically, the first attack that it gets, doesn´t affect to the card.

2- PELACOR CONJURER

An amazing card for low mana battles. I own this card in GF lvl 4. The card has the flying and reflection ability. This reflection ability increases the winning options playing versus Obsidian, as it reflects magic attacks. Combining this card together with AVES STURGIS, you get a monster card with Speed, reflection, flying and 2 Magic Damage.

3- VENARI CRYSTALSMITH

This card plays another key role in this amazing cards combination, as it provides the healing ability to the Pelacor Conjurer. The Pelacor Conjurer keeps attacking with the 2 Magic attack and keeps reflecting the Magic that it gets from the enemy. The longer you can keep him in front, the higher the chances to win the battle.

4- CHAOS AGENT

After having placed the 3 key cards in the game, I have completed the remaining mana with another 3 powerful cards for low mana battles. The first one is the chaos agent, which costs only 1 Mana. Combining this card with Aves Sturgis, it gets 2 Magic Attack. Placing this card just behing Aves, taking into account that Aves has the divine shield ability, allows Chaos Agent to attack (theoretically - as the enemy has a card with Scattershot ability). This card has also the dodge ability, what gives chaos agent more survival options.

5- DAX PARAGON

A 2 Mana card with magic attack is an excellent card for low mana battles, so you should own at least 1 BCX of this card. You can place the card at the back end and he will provide you some damage and a small tanking capacity, in case the enemy uses cards with sneak ability.

6- SOUL FIEND

Just to finish the cards combination, every Splinterlands player should own 1 BCX of each fiend. These are amazing cards for 0 Mana. I put them at the end, so it provides my dax paragon a small protection.

In addition to the card combination, the particular battle I am sharing has the following rulesets

1- Reverse speed--> Monsters with lower speed attack first
2- Thorns--> If a melee attack hits, you get -2 Shield or health
3- Amplify--> All abilities do additional damage (in this battle, reflection gets additional boost)

All these 3 Ruleset provide additional power to the card combination I am sharing, as most of the cards have low speed. So in this battle, most of my cards are attacking before his monsters.

Please got to the following link to check how good this combination performs and I am able to beat a lvl 8 summoner. The battle is very hard and at the end he misses one shot, but this card combination against the same level of summoner should be much easier to win!
