Hey Splintermates, what is going on? Here we are again, sharing with you a nice challenge proposed by the Splinterlands team. We have been asked to share with the community our favourite strategy, so please read carefully, as you will get a lot of knowledge.

However, before starting with the post, I encourage all Splinterlands players to participate in these challenges, as it provides visibility to other potential new players on different social networks. BAAKJIRA DEADBLAST

When it comes to ultimate combinations, you need to think in a big amount of factors. However, with the current meta in Modern format, you need to combine swiftness, slow, tanking capacity and a big amount of damage.

This is what happens if you combine Baakjira and Daarg Deadblast, with Kelya as Summoner. Lets start presenting the 2 monster cards first and then we can continue with the summoner.

BAAKJIRA

This legendary water card is a monster tank that provides powerful abilities, such as Void (reduces the received magic attack), slow (-1 speed of all enemies), strenghten (increases + 1 the life of all team cards) and heal.

This card is currently playable in Modern and Wild format, as it was released during the Chaos Legion set.

DAARG DEADBLAST

Another legendary water card, that provides magic damage and support abilities, such as Weapons Training, swiftness, triage and dodge.

All these abilities are amazing, but the weapons training with magic attack is the key to combine with Baakjira. By combining these cards, one of the main tanks gets damage.

I play currently with a low gold deck, so I don´t have these cards maxed out. However, I am able to extract the most power out of it. The current meta consist on attacking as fast as possible and trying your enemy to miss their attacks.

With these 2 monsters, you are able to increase the speed of the team +1 and reduce the speed of the opponent -1. It gives you a delta +2 in speed.

LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE

ROUND 1

I would like to show you how good these 2 work together on the battlefield. You can see that there is a big difference in Summoners. My opponent own a lvl 8 Kelya and I own a lvl 5 Kelya.

The ruleset of the battle I have chosen is:

• Explosive Weaponry: All units have the blast ability.
• Tis but Scratches: All units have the cripple ability.
• Keep your Distance: No Melee units are allowed.

Specially for the Explosive Weaponry ruleset, it is key to attack as fast as possible, so you can do a big amount of damage with blast. For that reason, I decided using Kelya. My opponent took the same decision. You start already with +1 armour and +1 speed.

If you take another look at the Battlefield, you will see that we both took the same decision to combine Djinn Oshannus with Venari Marksrat. With the blast ruleset and by puting a card with Martir on the 2nd position, you are giving a big advantage to 2 cards.

My Djinn Oshannus and Baakjira have won +1 in all stats. But the key to win this match to a +3 lvl Kelya comes from the already explained ULTIMATE COMBINATION between Baakjira and Deadblast. My Daarg Deadblast restores health of a monster not placed in the first position, it has given magic attack to Baakjira and my team has won a 2+ speed difference to my enemy.

ROUND 2

At the end of round 1, you can see that my team is still 100% there, I haven´t lost any card yet. My both cards with Triage have healed my cards on the back. I have also a team with several tanks. Not only Baakjira, but also Djinn Oshannus and Nerissa Tridawn.

Nerissa Tridawn is also another key card for all these 3 rulesets, as she provides a big amount of magic damage, but has also 10 health. So she will be firing from the back end several rounds, hitting the enemy and reducing their life.

ROUND 3

At the end of round 2, you can already see the big difference between his team and my team. My martir card has been destroyed, which I have placed there in purpose and my first tank Djinn Oshannus has suffered, but the rest of the team is nearly untouched.

This match is already a checkmate, nothing can go wrong.

ROUND 4

No chance for my enemy, all my magic monster have hit his cards and there was just his archery standing. No chance, my friend.

As you can see below, GG and some juicy rewards for ESTEBAM! So if you have been able to read until the end, you will have noticied that the Ultimate Combination between Baakjira and Deadblast works very well, even against the same summoner with +3 lvls.
