Weekly Battle Challenge : Xenith Archer
Introduction
Hello guys welcome to my blog. This week's battle challenge theme is Xenith Archer. Xenith Archer is a Common Card from Neutral element. It does Archery damage. It belongs Chaos Legion edition. It does not have any ability. This card is very helpful in no melee Ruleset or little league. When paired with Archery buffing Summoners like General Sloan it does 2 Archery damage which is pretty rare for a 2 mana card. Stats for Xenith Archer are below 👇. As of writing Price/BCX vary from $0.22 to $0.30.This card is a Common Chaos Legion Card. It is a good card. I don't see any jump in the price of this card in near future. You can check price yourself in the in-game Market Link.
Anyways Let's get into the battle. Here's the line up :

Super Sneak - All melee monsters have sneak ability.

Splinters Allowed - Water and Earth.
💭 Thought process 💭
- EARTH - This battle is from a brawl and that too from a gold foil brawl tho capped at bronze league. I had rented a few cards and some were delegated to me from a guild member. So I had limited amount of cards to play with. As it had a Super Sneak Ruleset so I was expecting enemy to play either Mylor or go full melee. So with that in went with a mixed composition of melee archers and mages. Best available cards with this in mind was Obsidian so i chose Earth element and used Obsidian as my summoner.

Round 1
As expected Opponent went melee heavy team and even buffed it's monster using Mylor which provides Thorns to every enemy monsters.
Thankfully I had an mixed team which gave me an advantage. Mycelic Morphoid did it's job and died in one hit from enemy which allowed it to apply it's thorns ability.
My team placement was good so everything was going to plan.
Round 2
Managed to get rid of Enemy's main damage dealers (Venari Knifer and Supply Runner) in Second round .
Sadly one of main damage dealer (Venari knifer) also died but it did it's job.
Enemy can not win form here because it lacks damge to kill my monster.
Round 3
Enemy's last damage dealer also died.
Now only Chaos agent is left which should be easily killed in next round.

Cards Used with explanations :
(Battle is from a Bronze league Gold foil only Brawl)
In first place I placed Mycelic Morphoid which has Thorns ability. I placed it in first place as an soft tank/ Place holder for Regal Peryton. It is a real good card against Melee teams because of the thorns. Also it's a 2 mana card so it's fits well in low mana matches like this one.
In second place we have Regal Peryton. This card was my main damage dealer. I buffed it's stat with Obsidian so now it can do 3 magic damage per turn which is a lot in these kinda matchups. It costs only 5 mana and has High speed with flying ability, good health. So this card is a nightmare for typical slow melee damage cards.
At third place I have Our themed card of the Week Xenith Archer. I placed it here cause i wanted to protect it a bit from sneak attacks. This is a good card in low mana matches. It's archery damage makes it a effective against Monsters with Thorns ability. For a 2 mana this card has good enough stats.
At fourth position we have Acid Shooter. I chose this card because it's low mana with good health and 3 speed. It also has scattershot ability which was a plus point. I placed it here because I didnt want it at last plce because Super sneak ruleset.
At fifth place we have Venari Knifer. This card is very good in this ruleset because of it's thorns ability. Just place it at last place enemy melee monsters will kill themselves by attacking it. This was one of the key cards in this line up along with Regal peryton.

Yep it did work out fine this time. Well that will depends on Ruleset

This is a good card in my opinion. In certain ruleset or when paired with Suitable summoners like General Sloan this card becomes very good. It has low mana cost as well. Tho it lacks ability but you can not get everything in one card. It is more of a support card than a carry card and does it's job well. Also it's an neutral card which makes it worth to buy and max it out for your current league because of it's versatility.
