Splinterlands Thanksgiving Tournament & New Rebellion Card Revealed!

Some of you may not be able to attend due to a turkey-induced coma, lol!

It is the tryptophan in Turkey that makes many people so relaxed and downright tired. It won't last too long though so eat some turkey and then join us if you are not asleep.

Tryptophan is a healthy, essential amino acid found in turkey. I actually learned about that during a Seinfeld episode where George and Jerry gave a friend of theirs turkey so she would fall asleep and they could play with her huge classic toy collection that she did not want anyone to touch, lol! Check out the scene below, it is hilarious!

That is how I learned about how turkey makes you tired! Plus on Thanksgiving, there are also the classic dishes like mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, and more! Then, you have desserts like pumpkin pie, apple pie, cherry pie, cheesecake, or whatever dessert you like! It is Thanksgiving so the more the merrier!

I hope to see you this Thursday and I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving! Happy Turkey Day to everyone! It is time to be thankful! I am definitely thankful for Splinterlands. It is such an incredible game and has changed my life in so many small ways.

If I am in a jam with some bill or need to buy something I have always been able to sell one of my Splinterlands cards to pay for what I needed to do or to get. I love all the ways to earn crypto as well. It is an amazing game, with a great community that I love. Now I need to sell some more old cards and buy Rebellion packs with it! I only have 243 packs and need to get so many more but I am waiting on a few cards to sell before I get them.

It took me a long time after Riftwatchers came out to max out all those cards and it looks like it will be the same with Rebellion for me. I don't earn a lot as my job in real life is as a home health aide to my 27-year-old son Adil who was born with Cerebral Palsy. He cannot walk, talk sit up, etc. There are so many others who are even worse off than he is. Many people born with Cerebral Palsy cannot smile or even laugh. They have many, many surgeries, one after the other so in many ways like this I am thankful Adil can smile as you can see here.

That is great and something to be thankful for. I think the moral of the story here is there is always someone worse off than you are. Someone who has it even tougher than you could imagine. So, today, I am thankful for those small things like Adil smiling and laughing when he is having a good day. his smile is so contagious too! I am also sad as my Mom lives in Nevada and I am in Virginia. My older son lives in FL. so everyone is at a different place all the time. I cannot travel as I have to be with Adil and she is too old to travel now.

It is sad for me to be so far apart but I am so happy my Mom is doing okay and is healthy herself as well as my older son David. Life is short, we hear this all the time but I am not sure if we all understand that or not. Anyway, I am again thankful for the game Splinterlands. It does take my mind off of many stressful things and I can earn something as well. It is a win-win situation for me and so many others! Splinterlands and the HIVE blockchain have most definitely changed my life for the better and I am forever grateful.

Time to battle it out on Splinterlands!
