Im taking a moment to purchase 5 packs of Chaos Legion cards, amidst this sea of red that lies before us.
First, a scope of the general U.S markets...more specifically ES, which is SPX/SPY futures.
1 huge monster rally since the virus drop in march of 2020. Alongside of course Bitcoin has rallied, and bringing along, the other alt-coins, and our beloved Hive token.
Since markets have been selling, so has bitcoin, which in turn affects mostly all coins.
Ive been following SPS (splintershards), the governance/utility token for Splinterlands. Ive been staking past few months and hard to see this asset continuously sell, and leaving a lot of us a bit worried. While some others are happy to see low prices, so we can buy low. It may also give new players a chance to get in on low prices to build up decks and bring more competition to the space.
My my, she is getting crushed though. Always remember we take a risk with these assets. Lot of speculation.
On to the cards, and to the fact that im about to send 1 pack to my buddy @xplosive. I like that Hive is all about us coming together, to help each other. Through good words, and by helping financially.
Now, i have 4 packs to open. I will keep it simple and just show some of the good pulls. Grabbing enough potions for good luck.

Djinn Muirat. Legendary pull worth about 10 bucks, which is lowest prices that will sell quickly. Some listing for higher but 10 would sell for sure right now.
Djinn Inferni. Epic pull worth about $2 to $3.
A double Djinn pull, interesting.
I hope you get at least 1 decent card @xplosive, dont be discouraged if not. Its the wild west, and we're all playing in the sandbox. Good luck, im sending the pack to you now.
Now the cards are rubbish. I didn't buy any more packs for over a week until yesterday, bought 3 packs. Best one was a epic something warlock ( can't remember which ) total value of my 15 cards about $7. I tryin just buy a pack or two every week, need to watch my budget.

Unfortunately I have to agree. I have not even received an Epic card, nor a Legendary. I received only one rare card and four commons after I opened the gift card pack.
According to https://peakmonsters.com/packs, you statistically will lose more from buying Chaos Legion Packs compared to buying Cards individually, so I have decided not to buy those Packs even in the General Sale (unless I want to "try my luck").

Its definitely rough out here. Ive had a lot of worthless packs so far, but i do enjoy collecting, the artwork, and the game still, so i keep up the grind for now. Keep rockin too man.
I’m far for rockin, but i enjoy the game by itself. The possibilities are a bit frustrating but this is crypto a different kind of animal :D

Wow nice one. I am trying to power up summoners at the moment. It's like saving for a house. Once I have the summoners powered up to decent level Im gonna focus on the monsters.
Good plan, my blanch man. Yeah, summoners really make all the difference. Lv 2 and 3 stats help win battles for sure.
