Top 5 WATER Cards to Buy for Beginners

Welcome guys to another What to buy guide for new players.

I decided to write such guides as the in-game economy is changing and it is hard to decide which cards are good and worth it at this time. Some cards are at an all-time high while some are dropping fast. It is time to find some good deals and to prepare for the upcoming Chaos Legion expansion.

Today we will cover Water Splinter. So let's get started with some picks of the day!

#1 Vera Salacia - At this moment Vera Salacia is an interesting card. Vera is priced at around 3 USD. Considering the prices of other summoners this is looking like a steal.

Her Snare ability is not very appealing but the price is. For around 15 USD you can get a level two rare summoner that is a max level summoner in the Bronze league. You will not get a good ability from this summoner but you will get the ability to summon higher-level monsters. If you are on the budget you should consider this.

#2 Serpent of Eld - Every team must have a good tank. Serpent of Eld seems like the best cheap solution. Hight speed and Dodge ability will help with tanking melee and ranged attack. At this moment, Serpent's price is around 2 USD which seems like a really good deal.

The only downside is the low health pool. This means that the Serpent of Eld will be vulnerable to magic attacks. Highs speed means that even if attacked with magic, you will get at least one or two attacks. When playing Serpent of Eld you could use off-tank in case your opponent runs the magic team. For now, this looks like a good tank to start with. WIth Chaos Legion, there could be some better and cheaper options.

#3 Giant Squid - Amazing ranged monster with two attacks at level one. At this moment it is valued at only 1.2 USD so compared to some other cards it looks like a bargain.

On higher levels, Giant Sqiod even gets Blind ability that can help your Serpent of Eld to dodge those melee and ranged attacks. Amazing this is that one armor. It does not seem like a lot but it can soak additional attacks. That means you will often play this card in the last spot to soak that Sand Worm damage.

#4 Kelp Initiate - A must-have card. You will often use this card as a tank or off-tank. Sometimes in the last spot to soak those Sneak attacks. The cost is a bit high for this type of card (around 2.5 USD) but it is worth it.

On higher levels, Kelp Initiate even gets Cleanse and Triage abilities that will help your team to survive longer. A really nice pick.

#5 Axemaster - Most expensive card on this list but I really love this card. It seems to me that Axemaster is highly underpriced at 8-9 USD at the moment. We can compare this card to Matica Headhunter which is priced at 30 USD. I like Axemaster slightly more because of Double Strike ability.

His ability means that he can break armor/shield and still do some damage. On higher levels with the right summoner, he can do 10 damage per turn. Just AMAZING! I believe once it is printed his price will skyrocket.
