Welcome guys to another What to buy guide for new players.
I decided to write such guides as the in-game economy is changing and it is hard to decide which cards are good and worth it at this time. Some cards are at an all-time high while some are dropping fast. It is time to find some good deals and prepare for the upcoming Chaos Legion expansion.
Today we will cover Life Splinter. So let's get started with some picks of the day!
#1 Lorna Shine - It looks like the best option when talking about budget summoners in Life Splinter. At the moment you can buy one at the price of 8.3 USD. Not a bad price, but we don't know what to expect from Chaos Legion. If there will not be a good Life summoner, price of Lorna Shine could skyrocket.
Her Divine Shield ability is very good. The first attack against your minions will be blocked no matter how big the damage. There are some downsides, you don't have any benefit when there is Divine Shield in the ruleset. Also, Divine Shield won't help you against poison damage.
#2 Djinn Renova - A new reward card that seems amazing. Big health pool and two magical damage are great. With so much magic damage in Life Splinter, can we expect plus one magic summoner in the next expansion? If yes, then Djinn Renova will be even better.
The main reason why I love this card is her ability. Strengthen will add one health to all your minions. That can help a lot, especially when played with Baby Unicorn and Mother Khala. I would often use Baby Unicorn but he must be in the first spot to attack. I didn't like that as that card is not a proper tank. Djinn Renova doesn't have that problem so I see that she will be used more often. On higher levels, she also gets Triage ability that heals your back-line.
#3 Lunakari Mistress - I like to use either Lunkari Mistress or Djinn Renova. Those two are the perfect pair for odds and even rulesets. Two magic damage is really good, same as health so Lunkari Mistress can be used as an off-tank on the second spot.
I like her Oppress ability that helps against small tanks like Failed Summoner, Kelp Initiate, Gelatinous Cube, and so on.
#4 Pelacor Conjurer - A must-have card. You will often use this card as a tank or off-tank. Sometimes in the last spot to soak those Sneak attacks. Same as you would use that Failed Summoner or Kelp Initiate. You can get this card at the moment for a bargain, only 0.17 USD.
On higher levels, Pelacor Conjurer even gets Magic Reflect, Divine Shield, and Phase. Due to his high speed and Flying ability he often dodges enemy attacks.
#5 Evangelist - Interesting card that has three damage on the first level. An absolute beast that you should have in your team if you are playing Life Splinter. Speed is not something special, but health is decent. At the moment it feels underpriced.
In the Silver league, she has four damage, which feels like a lot. An additional bonus is Inspire ability that gives plus one melee damage to all friendly monsters. This is amazing when played in combination with Silvershield Knight and Daria Dragonscale. Great card!
Well, these are cards that I would recommend at this moment for Life Splinter. When something changes I will be here with a new article. I hope that you find these articles useful.
I hope that you are enjoying Splinterlands. If you are new here, #splinterlands is the amazing #NFT trading card game with #play2earn model. That means you can have a lot of fun AND you can earn money (DEC - Dark Energy Crystals) at the same time. If you don't have an account yet consider registering with my link.

P.S. Buying these cards is not financial advice. I think those cards are good picks if you are just starting with Splinterlands. Before investing you should do your own research and invest based on that. Never let someone else affect your financial decisions.
