#1 Chaos Legion Cards Unveiled

Oh, guys,

I am so excited to share with you the Chaos Legion cards Unveiled by Cryptomancer. This time no more theorycrafting. We have real stats and some of those cards are really amazing. And on top of that, only 7 more days until Chaos Legion is out(a bit less). (Chaos Legion)Christmas is coming! Ho-ho-ho 😎

Let's get started :)

Thaddius Brood

Let's start with the new Death summoner, Thaddius Brood. He fits into the Death splinter debuff team. The art on this guy is amazing. I thought that he could be giving Life Steal to Death splinter due to green magic. But I was wrong.

Minus 1 magic is something that Death splinter was missing and where it was hard to counter the Water team. Now this problem is solved and you only need to guess what will your opponent play. -1 health is always a good addition to Death splinter considering all other debuffs. Considering other summoners, 4 mana is fair for Thaddius and I am really excited to play him.

Gem Meteor

I will probably not play Splinterlands at max level for some time, but I am still super excited about this one. First of all, notice that this guy is Neutral. That means that he can be played in every game.

Scatter and Blast abilities are amazing. I am targeting the Gold league in the Chaos Legion expansion so level 4 will be where I should play this guy. So he can easily hit your backline and do 3 damage to the target and 2 damage to both sides. That is 7 damage for 5 mana. With that high speed, he will surely hit at least once. I am sure that we will have some kind of +1 Ranged buff like Selenia Sky, which makes him even stronger.

Scavo Chemist

Really cheap card with Rust ability. It is hard to tell how useful this will be as we don't know stats on higher levels. We can probably expect 1 attack on level 2 or level 3. If there will be a lot of armor added in CL then this card will be played a lot. We need to wait and see.

Scavo Hireling

I see this card as super valuable. It is a Neutral monster with Repair ability. You can play it with any splinter and it is always a good idea to repair your armor if you have a monster with it. I would predict +1 damage on level 2 or level 3, same as Scavo Chemist.

Time Mage

I am really excited about this one. As we expected from time mage he will have some speed buffs/debuffs and we were not wrong. 5 speed is amazing and it will be an even bigger difference when Slow does its job. That means we could use this card in speed meta. We still need to wait for other level stats but Backfire would be really nice.

Cursed Windeku

Interesting card. Really low attack but that is why we do have 10 health and Thorns on level 1. I can see health going up by level and if we could get one more interesting ability at higher levels, this card could be a beast. Especially with other debuffs which Death splinter provides.

Cruel Sethropod

In comparison with other cards, it does not seem like anything special. But on the second look, it is a really good card. Especially when you notice that it is Common level 1. It means it will get +2 in stats for the bronze. I guess it could get 1 health and 1 speed on level 3. But then this guy for only 3 mana has 2 armor and 5 health. Decent tank if you ask me.

Summary

I am getting super excited about Splinterlands and I can't wait to see other cards. We were a bit off with guessing stats about some cards, but still, not that far away either. If you didn't join Splinterlands yet, now is the right time. And once more, only a few more days until December 8. Can't wait!!!
