Hello Guys!
Yeeeeeeeeey I'm back again with my Splinterland spost. Sometime ago, when I pushed rank I got the Born Again ruleset, where all monsters get the Rebirth ability, an ability that only Runi has. I was quite surprised as well as exited. Where else can we who don't have Runi feel this special ability haha. So on this occasion I will share my battle strategy with you.
Well, I'm neither a proplayer nor a tournament hero. I just enjoys sharing strategy and battles that I find interesting in my own view. I played on wild battles on Gold leagues, and maybe the battle strategies I'd share weren't suitable to apply in other leagues because the differences in ability that open up are different from each league.
Ok guys, without further ado, let's get straight to the heart of this post!
BATTLE PREPARATION
The rulesets in this battle are:
- Born Again (All Monsters have the Rebirth ability)
- Healed Out (All Healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners)
- Noxious Fumes (All Monsters start the battle poisoned)
- Mana Capacity 59
- Active Element Fire, Dragon.
Guys, I think the rulesets of this battle are very interesting, because Noxious Fumes is combined with Born Again. As you know that the monsters that have been resurrected are immune to poison. So it's possible that the monster that dies first will probably be the monster that can survive to the end because it has been immune to poison. Because all monsters have Rebirth ability, so all monsters will eventually be immune to poison.
I thought carefully about which monsters I would choose in this formation, and the position and strategy of each monster I chose I had summarized in the table below. Well, since I don't have monsters from the Fire element at the Gold league level, then I will only use Dragon and Neutral monsters.
Monster | Position | Abilities | Strategy |
---|---|---|---|
Quix The Devious | Summoner | -1 Range, -1 Speed | Quix The Devious is my favorite Summoner Dragon right now because it has a debuff that reduces the opponent's speed and also reduces the attack range. Speed is closely related to winning. So in addition to summoning other Dragon monsters, Quix The Devius will also increase the chance of victory by playing speed. |
Robo-Dragon Knight | First | Void, Devine Shield, Piercing | Not a Gold-level amx, but I chose the Robo-Dragon Knight as the main tank because it has large HP, large armor, Void and Devine Shield abilities for defense and large damage equipped with pierching abilities. |
Carnage Titan | Second | Reach, Double Strike, Shield | I chose Carnage Titan in second place as an attacker because it has a Reach ability with 3 melee damage and Double Strkrike ability. This means that once attacked, this monster can produce 6 damage melee attacks. This monster is also a Second Tank because it has a large Armor and Shield ability. Unfortunately, this monster is a little weaker than Magic attack because its HP is not too big when compared to the mana needed. |
Void Dragon* | Third | Flying, Void,Phase | The Void Dragon has a large HP with 5 mana, this makes this atmosphere special. In addition, the speed possessed is also very large and is equipped with the ability of Flying, Void, and Phase. Both Melee, Range, and Magic attacks enemies will find it difficult to hit this monster. Unfortunately, the damage from this monster is small, but this is not a problem because this monster is not a main attacker. |
Oshuur Constantia | Fourth | Resurrect, Reflection Shield | Although all monsters have Rebirth abilities due to rulesets, Oshuur Constantia's Resurrect ability will still be useful. This is indeed not the Gold league's max level, but the Thank Heal ability possessed by level 3 monsters is also useless because of the Healed Out rulesets. Another point of monste rini is that it has Reflection Shield ability, so Blast, and Reflect magic will have no effect on this monster. |
Chaos Dragon | Fifth | Flying, Scattershot, Blast, Blind | Play attacker in this battle, because it has enormous magic damage and is very exlosive because of Scattershot and Blast abilities. This monster also has a Blind debuff, so all Enemy melee and range attacks have an increased chance of missing their target. Large HP is also an additional point for this monster, and it is comparable to the mana it has. |
Supply Runner | Last | Swiftness | The only Neutral monster for the buff speed of all friend monsters, has a speed of 4 and damage of 2 range attacks. This monster will be the target of the opponent's Sneak attack. |
You can see the complete line-up of both teams in the picture below. Opponents also use Quix The Devious as a Summoner, with a blend of Dragon, Neutral and Fire monster.
The opponent's main tank is Coeurl Lurker, a Taunt monster who has high Speed with Dodge and Phase abilities. Both Melee, Range, and Magic attack will find it difficult to hit this monster. I think it's going to be a tough battle for me. In second place is the Carnage Titan, just like my formation. The third position is Elemental Phoenix, a Legendary Fire monster with 3 magic damage and Blast. I think this is the opponent's main attacker. Just like my Chaos Dragon which has 3 magic and Blast damage, the opponent's is in the fourth position and the fifth position is Dragon Jumper and in the last position there is Doctor Blight. WOO turns out that the opponent's monster is a Legendary Monster.
To be honest, just a glance at the opponent's line-up immediately made me insecure. I'm not sure I'm going to win this battle. But who knows? let's swap to Battlefield Arena
BATTLEFIELD ARENA
I've also included a youtube video of this battle that you can play right away.
Rulesets Born Again da Noxious Fumes make this battle run for quite a long time. Many missed attacks that occurred both from my team and the opposing team. Initially, Doctor Blight looks like an invincible monster because Rebirt has been immune from the beginning so he has been immune to poison from the beginning and Scavenger who continues to rise because of other monsters who died. But in the end, the Void Dragon became the last monster of Rebirth, which caused Doctor Blight to die, it was difficult to hit the Void Dragon.
As usual, the first round begins with buff and debuff parties and all Monsters and Summoners. Although both teams get debuff speed, but because my team also gets Swiftness from Supply Runner, the speed of all monsters returns to the initial mode, and the Void Dragon becomes the first monster to attack. The first miss attack was experienced by Jumping Dragon, even though it has greater speed than the Cragane Titan, but its attack still misses because it gets Blind. My Cragane Titan's attack on Coeurl Lurker was also 2x missed. The opponent's Chaos Dragon attack aimed at my Chaos Dragon, but also missed, and my Oshuur Constantia also missed to hit Coeurl Lurker. The first round is closed with Doctor Blight's attack leaving Aflliction to the Robo-Dragon Knight.
No monsters died when the second round started poisoned, but my seragan did not survive after that Doctor Blight died because of the Blast of the Chaos Dragon and then Rebirth. Followed by Coeurl Lurker who also died from the Cranage Titan and then Rebirth. The Second Round ended with my Robo-Dragon Knight dying then Rebirth.
Jumping Dragon, my Cranage Titan and Supply Runner died of poisoned during the third round but then Rebirh. Doctor Blight's HP increased by 3 because of Scavenger. Coeurl Lurker completely died after being attacked by the Void Dragon at the beginning of the third round. Followed by My Carnage Titan also died from the Blast Elemental Phoenix, but Resurrect by Oshuur Constantia. Not long after, my Chaos Dragon's attack hit the opponent's Chaos Dragon and the Blast from the attack hit the Dragon Jumper which made Dragon Jumber die again, while the Chaos Dragon suffered a Rebirth. The round ends with My Robo-Dragon Knight dying again
Elemental Phoenix, Oshuur Constantia, and Chaos Dragon died from Poisoned and Rebirth when the fourth round began. The Void Dragon's attack killed the opponent's Carnage Titan, and followed by my Cranage Titan also died from the Elemental Phoenix attack. The opponent's Elemental Phoenix and Chaos Dragon also died, and now the opponent's monsters are only Doctor Blight left. The fourth round ended with Doctor Blight's attack missing the Void Dragon.
The Void Dragon died from Poisoned and then Rebirth when the fifth round began. I still have 4 monsters left in this round, while the opponent only leaves Doctor Blight, and unfortunately, Doctor Blight's attack also missed, hahaha. Even though this is an OP monster and has a very large HP because of the Scavenger, it seems to be just waiting for death
The battle ended in the sixth round after Doctor Blight died from a barrage of attacks from my onster-monsters. I won with 4 monsters left.
