Nice rundown... I noticed that Steem Monsters have a very high ROI compared to many other games (maybe it's the highest?) As for me, I'll stick to renting cards whenever I feel like playing.

You're right, I think Splinterlands Aka Steemmonsters has the highest ROI.
Fitting cards is another good way to get high ROI ... or it's a good way to use expensive cards without buying them.
