CANNABIS AND SPIRITUALITY.
If you have any knowledge of this subject, then you probably already know that cannabis works according to what you are looking for. You need to consciously decide what effect we want to have before smoking, otherwise the subconscious will automatically choose one. If you want to increase your appetite, that's what you'll do. If you smoke before a hike because you want to make the walk more enjoyable, that's what it will do. If you smoke because you want to relieve pain, relax or de-stress, it will help you too. Obviously other factors come into play as well as the quality of the herb, the amount you ingest, the type of variety you are consuming, how it is being used, etc., but, for the most part, cannabis strains tend to work in the same way when it comes to meditation. As with many things in life, everything revolves around the intention behind it.
The effects of this sacred plant help you to experience a deep sense of peace and joy. Under his influence it is common for the focus of thought to be shifted to spiritual rather than materialistic interests. These fleeting moments allow smokers to shed their fears, to reach a deeper search for their new wisdom and experience.
People who use marijuana are able to remain in the present, however, they can also leave behind all the emotional resistance to sink into a realm of appreciation. They become observers of the environment, so to speak in a simpler way, for this reason, they are often more open to life or small details, compared to non-smokers. It is in this way that one could say that his spiritual consciousness reaches a higher plane of understanding.
The use of cannabis for spiritual, medicinal or religious purposes is as old as civilization itself. This herb, with its ability to allow new perspectives and spiritual understandings, has been (and still is) used in religious cultures around the world.
One of the oldest examples of the use of cannabis in religion is Taoism, the ancient set of Chinese creeds dating back to the 4th century BC. The fundamental philosophy of Taoism is the harmony and balance of everything in the universe, represented by the yin-yang symbol. Ancient Taoist texts mention the use of cannabis as incense in rituals, where it was used to eliminate selfish desire and achieve a state of naturalness. It was also believed that cannabis could enhance divination. Taoist priests and shamans used the grass to communicate with both good and evil spirits.

I'm very open to the idea of using cannabis spiritually, but for some reason even the smallest dose seems to be too intense for me. I absolutely believe that it can be a positive part of a spiritual path though.
When you are not used to using cannabis, it is normal that the first few times you use cannabis, the effects are very intense, what I can recommend is that you do it and go to some forest where you can walk and connect with nature and take your time to meditate outdoors.
