What is a Retrograde?
“Retrograde motion is an APPARENT change in the movement of the planet through the sky. It is not REAL in that the planet does not physically start moving backwards in its orbit. It just appears to do so because of the relative positions of the planet and Earth and how they are moving around the Sun.”
What does it mean for Mercury to be in Retrograde?
“Several times a year, it appears as if Mercury is going backwards. These times in particular were traditionally associated with confusions, delay, and frustration.”
In what ways will this affect technology usage? Here’s the TL;DR from bustle.com
- Your electronic devices may crash for no reason
- Files can disappear
- Text messages might get misconstrued
- Email suddenly becomes a dangerous game
- Wi-Fi goes on the fritz
How do we handle all of this and remain sane in the process?
- Be gentle with yourself and others

Also, note that this Mercury Retrograde is happening at the same time as the Super Moon and both fall in Gemini.
